The Surfside Property Owners Association released a report on activities they are working on to date and ongoing.

If you are a member or resident of the community please read this and follow up accordingly.

We are half way through 2018 and we have some items to report:

STREET LIGHTS If your street is dark, we need you to take a picture of the POLE that includes the pole number and email this to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. immediately. Coopeguanacaste is requesting this pictures so they can install the lights we are asking for.

CULVERTS We have confirmed that blocked or non-functioning drains and culverts are the responsibility of the AYA. This means that we need owners to contact the Asada Surfside if your culverts are not working. They will come and clear them. You can send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call 2215-5744.

Please let us know if your reports are not being responded to. And please take care of this as soon as possible to avoid flooding.

SPEED BUMPS COSEVI is going to restore our speed bumps when they lines the roads soon, without charge to the Association.

ROAD GRADING We are negotiating with the municipality now to have all roads regraded. Keep you posted!

COMPOSTING What a success! Have you dropped your compost at the orchard yet? We are working to get individual composting buckets for sale to our members that would include weekly pickup. Watch Facebook for more information on this.

MID YEAR MEMBER DISCOUNT If you have not joined, now is the time! If you join before August 1, you can pay $60 in prorated dues.

FUNDRAISING Remember Bingo is every second Saturday at 5pm at Perla’s. That means this Saturday, June 30 is our next game. All proceeds go to fund our projects. Thank you for your support! Please share this message with your neighbors.
