Best of all it is just 45-60 minutes drive from the International airport outside of Liberia.

Rent a condo for a week or stay for the season. Check in at a local B&B and start off your day with breakfast by the pool, then take off on a tour and be back at the beach for a late afternoon swim.

Rates will vary considerably between high season and low season. Dec - April is high season and you will likely pay a 25-40% premium over the low season rates. The rates can double for the week from Christmas to New Years and again over Easter. This is the main vacation time for Costa Ricans and they love the beach.

If you plan on visiting the area during this time be sure to book your accommodations well in advance and reconfirm them a couple weeks prior to your trip.
